Zoya Sun Motif Cotton Throw

Natural cotton, finely woven into a throw in soft beige, carrying one raised sun motif embroidered in warm brown at the center. A narrow tone-on-tone stripe runs the full length beneath it. Fringe at both ends is applied by hand, so its length shifts slightly from piece to piece.

A single centered motif on a throw is the part least often seen, because the center is what disappears first into a fold or a sofa back. The tone-on-tone stripe is what carries this one day to day, working at any fold. It quarters to a thinner fold than the tufted throws do.

Finely woven natural cotton is cared for with a gentle machine wash — the raised embroidery and hand-applied fringe are the elements most vulnerable to heat, agitation, and harsh detergents over time.

• Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle using mild detergent; avoid bleach or harsh chemicals
• Tumble dry on low heat or lay flat to dry to maintain the weave
• Do not iron directly over embroidered or tufted areas
• Avoid wringing — the fringe and embroidery hold their form if the throw is handled gently while wet
• Dry clean recommended for long-term care and to preserve the embroidered motif
