Verde Guatemala marble, carved into a wide, shallow bowl that spreads from a curved base to a smooth tapered rim in one unbroken arc. The ground is deep forest green, shifting in density across the slab, with white veining and terracotta and rust lines running irregularly through it. Honed on every surface, matte throughout.

This is dining-table scale, not console scale — the piece a table is arranged around rather than one set beside others. The rim tapers thin enough that the bowl reads as one continuous surface rather than a form set on top of one. Green this dark holds the terracotta lines back until you are standing over it.

Verde Guatemala marble marks most readily from acidic contact — citrus juice, vinegar, and oils left on the surface will etch the stone and alter its color over time, making immediate attention to spills the most important care habit for this piece.

• For spills, clean immediately with a lightly damp cloth and mild soap — dry thoroughly
• Keep citrus, vinegar, and acidic foods away from the stone surface
• Do not use abrasive cloths or chemical cleaners on any surface
• Lift rather than drag when repositioning — the base will scratch surfaces beneath
• Apply a stone sealant periodically to maintain the surface and slow absorption
