Warm amber onyx, cut to the silhouette of a spoon rest and finished with a chamfered edge that keeps the profile low and spare. The banding in the stone moves in broad, sweeping formations across the surface — cream giving way to deep amber, the layers shifting in width and direction, no two following the same path.

On a kitchen counter beside the range, it sits between uses — still, low, the banding in the stone reading differently each time the light in the room changes. By afternoon, when the sun reaches the counter directly, the amber in the stone deepens and the cream bands appear to lift from the surface.

Onyx is a naturally porous stone — it benefits from simple, consistent care that keeps the surface clean and preserves the warmth of its finish. Wipe with a soft damp cloth after use and dry immediately to prevent oils or liquids from sitting on the stone.
