Tashi Abstract Throw

Natural cotton, woven soft and open into a throw, with tufted lines crossing the ivory surface in ochre, red, charcoal and warm clay. The lines vary in weight and spacing from piece to piece. Fringe at both ends is cut straight and left unfinished, with no hem or binding holding the edge.

Lines that run edge to edge survive folding — whichever way this lands, part of the composition still reads, which is not true of a throw built around a central motif. The unfinished fringe is a decision with a consequence: it softens and works loose at the tips rather than holding a cut line. Expect it to relax.

Natural cotton with raised tufted linear detailing is maintained on a gentle machine wash — the tufted lines are most vulnerable to heat and agitation, which can flatten the raised surface over time.

• Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle using mild detergent; avoid bleach
• Tumble dry low or air dry to maintain texture and fringe
• Avoid ironing directly over raised tufted areas
• Dry clean occasionally to preserve the weave
