Form & Presence

Marble, carved from a single block into a wine cooler, the flutes cut on a diagonal so they spiral the full height of the form. Each channel holds a consistent depth and width, and the rim finishes in a shallow scallop. The stone is dense and weighty — that weight is not incidental to what the object does.

A bottle stands upright and level inside, the walls thick enough to keep it cold through a long dinner, the base broad enough that a reach across the table will not tip it. The spiral channels give the hand a grip when it is lifted full. In Ivory White they show as shadow; in Hazel Brown the veining crosses them.

Care & Longevity

Natural marble is a porous stone that requires simple, consistent care — keep it dry between uses, away from acidic substances, and out of prolonged contact with moisture to preserve the surface and depth of the stone over time.

Wipe interior and exterior with a soft, dry cloth after each use
Do not leave standing water or melted ice inside the cooler for extended periods
Avoid acidic cleaners, citrus solutions, or soaking pads — these will damage the stone surface
Do not use scouring pads or harsh cleaning products
Use gentle soap and warm water if deeper cleaning is required; rinse dry promptly
Slight variations in veining and tone are natural to the stone and not a defect
