Tallinn Travertine Bath Set

Gray-brown travertine, turned into four bath pieces — a lotion dispenser, toothbrush holder, lidded canister and soap dish, each chiseled across the full body in a diagonal relief that wraps every surface. The canister lid is left smooth, unrelieved against the texture beneath it. The dispenser carries a matte black pump.

The smooth lid gives the eye somewhere to rest against all that texture. Travertine's open grain shows inside the chiseling — the pits belong to the stone rather than sitting on it as a finish, so relief and material work at two different scales. Gray-brown reads warmer under a vanity light than it does in daylight.

Travertine is a porous natural stone that rewards consistent, gentle care — its naturally open surface is more susceptible to staining than denser stones, and prompt attention to oils, soaps, and acidic liquids is essential to maintaining its warm character over time.

• Dust regularly with a dry cloth to maintain the stone's natural patina
• Avoid acidic or abrasive cleansers — vinegar, bleach, and citrus-based products will damage the surface
• Avoid prolonged exposure to standing water, which can penetrate and stain porous travertine
• Do not soak or submerge; travertine is a porous natural stone
• Reseal periodically with a stone sealant to preserve surface integrity
