Sparky Bottle Opener

A broad aluminium fish, rounded at the body and tapering into distinct fins and tail. The enamel finish divides naturally across the form — mint green and warm gold horizontal stripes across the body, fine red and white parallel strokes across the fins, blue and white brushwork across the head and opener loop. A small red dot sits at the centre of the body, the same on every piece.

On a kitchen counter or bar surface before a gathering, Sparky sits flat beside the bottles — picked up by the tail loop, used, set back down. The colour reads from across the room; the brushwork is something noticed only when it's in hand, each section painted with the same deliberate strokes in exactly the same composition.

The hand-painted enamel finish on this aluminium opener stays brightest with gentle hand washing — abrasive cleaning and prolonged soaking are the most likely causes of colour loss and surface wear over time.
