Form & Presence

Natural cotton and wool, embroidered into a pillow of sweeping paisley forms worked edge to edge — crimson, cobalt, teal, olive and amber pressed against one another with no ground showing between them. The stitching follows the curve of each form, so every color field carries its own direction. A red cord is set into the seam, matching the back.

Red piping and a solid crimson reverse make this the only pillow in the range that works from behind as well as in front — turned over it is a plain block of color, not a blank. The piping draws a hard line where five jewel tones would otherwise run into the upholstery. Five colors, no ivory anywhere.
