San Miguel Arc-Inlay Marble Tray

The San Miguel Tray is built around a long, narrow stone form — proportioned for the length of a table rather than the centre of one. At each end, rows of overlapping brass arcs fan outward from the edge, their rhythm tightening toward the corners where a brass loop handle rises cleanly from the stone. Pattern confined to the borders. The field of marble left open.

The stone is natural white with a character that rewards attention — soft blushes of pale rose and dusty mauve drifting through the white ground. The brass inlay sits flush with the surface, its warm gold line drawn against the cool stone with a contrast that is immediate without being insistent. The oval handles repeat that same brass, their form an extension of the arc pattern already present at each end.

A tray set for the evening: a carafe, two glasses, the marble cool beneath them. The arc border catches candlelight from across the table. The stone does not compete with what it holds — it makes everything placed upon it feel more considered.

Natural marble is a porous stone that rewards consistent care. Wipe the surface promptly after contact with liquids — particularly oils, wine, and acidic foods — to preserve the polish and protect the brass inlay finish.

• Avoid acidic substances — citrus, vinegar, and wine may damage the stone surface
• Dry immediately after cleaning to prevent water spotting
• Do not submerge in water or place in a dishwasher
