San Miguel Marble Tray

White marble with brass inlay, cut into a long, narrow tray — rose and dusty mauve veining drifting the full length, the center field left open. At each short end a brass scallop is set flush into the stone, its arched line continuing into the ring handle beneath. The face is polished and cool.

The ring handles sit under the scallops rather than beside them, so nothing projects past the stone at either end. Long and narrow runs along a surface instead of occupying the middle of one. Rose veining drifts the full length, and the center is left open for it.

White marble requires prompt attention after contact with liquids — the polished surface is susceptible to staining from acidic substances, oils, and wine. Wipe down with a soft damp cloth immediately after use to keep the brass inlay and stone surface in good order.
