Each groove cuts through the pile and exposes the natural jute beneath — a warm sandy line against the ivory surface. The offset rhythm keeps the pattern from reading as a grid; a raw jute border runs the perimeter.

Placed beneath a dining table with chairs pulled in for the evening, the rug holds the room quietly at its center. The ivory pile reads full and close underfoot; the jute lines visible at the edges of each chair leg, the border sitting raw and unhurried where the floor begins again.
