Moonlight Onyx Cloche Board

The board is cut wide and low from solid onyx, corners rounded so the profile stays easy. A recessed circle is carved directly into the stone to seat the glass cloche without movement. The onyx runs ivory white, with flowing sage-green and warm peach veining that shifts across the slab.

Late afternoon, a kitchen counter with good light and room to work. The cloche comes off, the board holds what's been arranged — aged cheese, sliced pears, a knife at the edge. The stone stays cool. The dome goes back on; the arrangement holds its shape until the guests arrive.

Onyx stays in best condition when kept dry between uses — the stone is sensitive to prolonged moisture and acidic substances, both of which can affect the surface over time.

• Wipe the board with a soft dry cloth after each use
• For spills, clean with a lightly damp cloth and mild soap — dry immediately
• Keep away from citrus juice, vinegar, and acidic foods that rest directly on the stone
• Clean the glass cloche with a soft cloth and gentle glass cleaner
• Do not submerge either piece in water or place in a dishwasher
• Store the cloche off the board when not in use to prevent moisture from collecting at the seat
