Montana Botanical Pillow

Natural cotton with a warm, linen-like weave is the ground for this pillow's three flowers. A powder-blue dahlia fills the left, its petals stitched in rings; a terracotta sunflower with a green center sits high on the right; a white daisy with an orange heart tucks in below. Moss and olive stems join them; a fringe in blue, green and aqua runs the edge.

Three blooms at this scale are meant for across a room, not up close, so the pillow works alone at the corner of a sofa where smaller patterns would need company. The dahlia's ringed stitching carries a faint ridge under the palm; the fringe is soft enough to brush a bare arm without catching.
