Madagascar Jute Wall Art
Form & Presence
Jute, jacquard woven into a dense interlocking pattern of diamonds and angular forms. The depth here comes from the weave itself — dark brown and warm natural jute shifting across the surface as the woven structure changes direction, creating shadow within a flat field. The natural wood frame carries the same warm brown as the darkest woven tone.
A dining room with dark timber furniture and a pale wall — the piece mounted at eye level between two windows, the warm jute and deep brown pattern reading as a single warm field from across the table. The weave holds its detail up close. The wood frame and the furniture below carry the same depth of tone.
Material & Composition
- Measurements 36" H × 24" W
- Weight 15 lb
- Material Jacquard woven natural jute with MDF backing, set within a natural wood frame — jute is a dry, open fiber that carries pattern through weave structure rather than surface treatment
- Color Palette Warm natural jute ground in golden amber against a deep dark brown woven pattern — high contrast within a close warm register, the wood frame echoing the darker tone
- Surface & Texture Flat woven surface with dimensional depth from the jacquard structure — dry and open to the touch, the pattern creating shadow without any raised pile
- Available Variants Madagascar One · Madagascar Two
- Artisan Touches Slight variations in weaving pattern, fiber tone, and natural jute texture highlight the individuality of each piece
Care & Longevity
Natural jute is best kept away from moisture and handled with a light touch — consistent gentle care preserves the dimensional quality of the woven surface and the warmth of the fiber tone over time.
- Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth
- Vacuum lightly using a brush attachment on low suction to remove surface dust from the woven relief
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to maintain natural fiber tone
- If spot cleaning is necessary, use a lightly damp cloth on the affected area only — allow to air dry fully
- Keep away from excessive moisture and humidity — jute fiber is sensitive to sustained dampness
- The natural wood frame may be wiped with a dry cloth — avoid wood cleaners or oils near the jute surface

Across Sitapura, pattern emerges as an interplay of light, space, and tradition. Motifs drawn from desert landscapes and architecture settle into compositions that feel balanced and quietly contemporary.
