Kampai Marbled Cocktail Shaker

Marbled resin and matte gold, shaped into a cocktail shaker whose body curves outward through the middle and narrows toward base and neck. Amber, dark caramel and deep brown move through the resin in broad sweeps, shifting as the light moves. The gold domed lid carries an integrated strainer and seats flush at the neck.

The strainer is in the lid, so nothing else has to come out of a drawer to pour. The waist is where the hand closes, which is why the body flares there rather than running straight. Resin stays warmer than steel against the palm through a long shake.

The resin body and stainless steel lid each require gentle handling — prolonged exposure to heat or direct sunlight is the primary thing to avoid, and the shaker should not be placed in a dishwasher.

• Do not place in a dishwasher or soak for extended periods
• Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals on the resin surface
• Store in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight
• Slight tonal variation in the resin is natural to the material and particular to each piece
