Jowun Botanical Bird Throw Pillow

A single bird — cobalt and teal body, olive head, navy tail — perches on a branching stem that arcs across the full face of the pillow. Surrounding blooms in cornflower blue, terracotta, and white are stitched close in wool on a natural ivory ground.

Crewel wool embroidery on a cotton ground requires gentle handling — dry cleaning is recommended to preserve the detail of the bird and branch stitching and the integrity of the ivory ground.

• If spot cleaning is necessary, use mild soap and cold water on the ivory ground only — avoid direct contact with the embroidered bird and branch motifs
• Lay flat or reshape and air-dry away from direct sunlight to prevent yellowing of the ivory ground and fading of the blue and amber tones
• Do not iron directly on the embroidered surface; use a cloth barrier if needed
• Store flat or loosely folded to avoid compressing the raised wool stitching
