Jodhpur Picture Frame
Form & Presence
The Jodhpur frame is built from a continuous mother of pearl vine — individual shell tiles laid across the full border in an unbroken leafing pattern that runs corner to corner without interruption. The border is wide, the pattern dense, and the shell surface shifts with ambient light rather than holding a single tone. The ground beneath reads through the shell in the chosen variant color.
On a bedroom dresser or narrow hallway shelf, the frame stands without competing with what it holds. The shell surface catches light at the periphery — the photograph at center, the pattern around it steady and present. It does not recede into the wall. It holds its place.

Care & Longevity
Mother of pearl shell inlay requires gentle handling — wipe the surface of the frame dry rather than wet, and handle the frame by its base to avoid pressure on the inlay and the integrity of the resin ground.
- Wipe with a soft dry cloth to maintain the polished surface
- Avoid abrasive or chemical cleaners that may damage the inlay or dull the shell lustre
- Do not expose to prolonged or direct sunlight — UV exposure can shift shell colour and affect inlay iridescence over time
- Do not expose to moisture or humidity — keep away from damp places and the resin ground
- Handle carefully — avoid pressure on the inlay surface
- Store in a dry environment away from heat or moisture to maintain the integrity of both inlay and resin
