Jodhpur Round Tray
Form & Presence
The Jodhpur tray is built from a continuous field of mother of pearl shell inlay — thousands of individually placed tiles covering the full surface and interior walls of a circular, deep-sided form. The shell pieces are cut small and set close, producing a surface that shifts with ambient light rather than announcing a single colour. The ground beneath reads differently depending on the variant.
On a console or low table, the tray holds its surface without needing anything placed in it. Light moves across the shell inlay through the day — the surface reads closer to material than pattern. It is the kind of object that changes the quality of the surface it sits on.

Care & Longevity
Mother of pearl shell and wood chip inlay both require gentle handling — this tray is designed for display and light decorative use, not food service or liquid exposure directly on the inlay surface.
- Wipe with a soft dry cloth after use — avoid abrasive materials that may scratch the inlay or polish.
- Do not place wet glasses or vessels directly on the inlay surface without a coaster or liner.
- Avoid chemical or alcohol-based cleaners — these can dull the shell's iridescence or shift resin tone.
- Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight to preserve resin colour and shell lustre.
- Do not expose to moisture or submerge — water can loosen inlay pieces from the resin ground over time.
- Store flat in a dry environment away from heat sources.
