Isaa Wool Rug

Two motifs alternate in a structured repeat: a star form with angular pointed arms in cream wool cords, and a large ogee with a forked base in soft grey-blue. The cream cords are tight and precise; the grey-blue run as double parallel lines, giving the ogee a slightly heavier weight on the sand ground.

In a bedroom, the all-over repeat covers the floor evenly — the tonal palette keeps it from reading heavily against lighter walls and furniture. In an entryway, the structured geometry holds at the scale of a full floor, the cream and grey-blue motifs remaining readable as the light shifts through the day.

Wool flat weaves hold their cord definition best when kept free of compacted dirt — grit that settles into the base of the raised motifs gradually flattens them if not removed regularly.

• Vacuum regularly on the suction-only setting — do not use rotating brush attachments, which can catch and distort the raised cord outlines.
• Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth — do not rub.
• Spot clean with a wool-safe solution only — do not saturate the surface with water or liquid cleaner.
• Rotate every six to twelve months to distribute foot traffic evenly across the repeat pattern.
• Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which can shift the tone of the sand ground and fade the grey-blue cord color over time.
