Brushed gold stainless steel, twisted into a rope-form handle — two rods wound together running the full length of the grip on each of a cake spatula and a cake knife. At the base of each blade a hand-cast bow marks the transition: open loops, a knotted center, the same detail on both pieces.

The bow sits exactly where the hand closes, so it is felt as much as seen — a raised knot that stops the fingers from sliding toward the blade. The rope twist does the same along the grip. Brushed satin does not throw glare across a cake the way a mirror finish would.

The brushed gold finish and hand-cast bow both hold their detail when washed by hand — abrasives and dishwasher heat will wear the surface and blur the bow's form over time.

• Dry immediately after washing — do not leave wet or air dry
• Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or steel wool
• Handle the bow detail with care when washing and storing
