Helsinki Cheese Knives

Three blades, each shaped for a different task: a broad flat spreader, a tapered leaf blade, and a two-tine fork. The handles are braided rattan over steel — the weave tight and consistent, narrowing toward the collar where the metal begins. The blades are smooth matte gold, compact and precisely formed.

Laid across a board before the cheese arrives, the three knives hold their arrangement without fuss — different heads, the same rattan handle repeated. The compact size keeps them close to the board. At this scale, the braid is visible in detail: each crossing of the weave distinct against the matte gold collar.

Braided rattan and matte gold stainless steel both require gentle care — rattan absorbs moisture readily, and prolonged water exposure can loosen the weave or affect the gold finish over time.

• Dry immediately with a soft cloth after washing
• Do not submerge or soak — moisture exposure can loosen rattan weave and affect the gold finish
• Do not place in dishwasher
• Avoid abrasive cleaners on blades or rattan surfaces
• Store flat to protect the rattan wrap from impact
