Natural rattan, braided tightly over a steel frame — the handles are firm and slightly textured, the weave sitting flush with no loose ends. Two blades: one long flat knife, one wide triangular spatula, both finished in a smooth matte gold that reads warm against the rattan.

The knife draws through the first slice cleanly, the long flat blade holding its line. The spatula slides beneath — wide enough to carry a generous piece without shifting. The braided handle sits differently in the hand than bare metal: cooler, grounded, with the slight give of the weave against the palm.

Braided rattan and matte gold stainless steel both require gentle care — rattan absorbs moisture readily, and prolonged water exposure can loosen the weave or affect the gold finish over time.

• Dry immediately with a soft cloth after washing
• Do not submerge or soak — moisture exposure can loosen rattan weave and affect the gold finish
• Do not place in dishwasher
• Avoid abrasive cleaners on blades or rattan surfaces
• Store flat to protect the rattan wrap from impact
