Heavenly Onyx Two-Tier Stand

Onyx, cut into a two-tier stand — a wider round base and a narrower upper tier, joined by a slender brass rod that meets each tier at a small brass collar. The edges are clean and straight with no lip. Warm brown and charcoal ground, with cream veining sweeping across both tiers in its own direction.

The tiers are far enough apart to reach a pastry off the lower one without tilting the stand, and the no-lip edge means a plate slides on and off rather than lifting over. The stone stays cool under whatever is set on it.

• Avoid acidic or abrasive cleansers — vinegar, citrus, and bleach-based products will damage the surface
• Do not soak or submerge; onyx is a porous natural stone

• Store in a dry place when not in use
• Reseal periodically with a stone-safe sealant to protect surface integrity
