Hanover White Marble Arch

The fluting runs the full length of both legs and fans across the curve overhead — dense, close-set ridges carved from a single block of white marble. Where the flutes meet the arch's inner face, the stone is left smooth, the contrast between the two surfaces deliberate. The form is broad at the base and resolves cleanly at the apex.

On the desk of a private library, the arch stands beside a closed book at the end of the day. The fluted ridges run to the apex without interruption. The opening beneath the curve stays clear — the desk surface visible through it, the stone steady above.

• Avoid acidic cleaners, citrus, or vinegar — these will etch the marble surface
• Keep away from oils, including hand creams and cooking oils, which will stain the honed finish
• Do not use abrasive cloths or scouring pads — these will scratch the surface
• Handle with care to prevent chipping at the fluted ridges
• Store in a dry environment away from prolonged moisture exposure
