Guppy Bottle Opener

Enamel over cast aluminum, worked into a bottle opener shaped as a fish — snout at one end, tail fanning into the opener loop at the other. Scaled texture runs the silver-gray belly; olive-yellow along the back with black spots, a cobalt band down the midline, burnt orange fins in fine linear detail.

The loop is at the tail, so the fish is held by the body rather than the working end. The cobalt band lands a little differently on each one. Enamel this glossy makes the colors sit on the surface rather than in it — the fish reads as painted rather than cast.
