Goldie Bottle Opener

A compact solid brass bird, weighted and low — the rounded body sits flat without a base, stable enough to stay on a counter between uses. The beak extends forward with the cap catch built into the gap between upper and lower bill. Engraved feather detailing covers the wings and tail, the recesses darkened so the pattern reads clearly against the matte gold surface.

On a bar counter before a gathering, Goldie sits beside the bottles — a guest picks it up, turns it once to find the beak, opens the bottle, sets it back down. Between uses it stays present as an object, the engraved detail drawing a second look from someone who hasn't seen it before.
