Forest Onyx Sphere

The sphere is among the most resolved forms in stone — no edge to define it, no plane to anchor it, only continuous surface moving in every direction at once. The Forest Sphere works entirely within this quality, drawing onyx into a form that holds its ground through weight and proportion alone. The polishing process allows the stone's natural character to emerge without interruption, the surface shifting in tone as light moves across it.

Two variants offer distinct mineral worlds within the same form. Chestnut Brown carries a warm, sandy ground threaded with darker tones and a bold geological band — deep brown sweeping across the surface in an arc that no two spheres repeat. Moss Green runs deeper and cooler: a dense forest ground layered with dark veining in close, directional lines, crossed by a warm copper band that catches the light differently from every angle.

A shelf, a console, a stack of books beside it — the Forest Sphere neither competes nor explains itself. The stone holds its colour differently in morning light than in the evening, the banding crossing the surface like something the earth left mid-sentence. It simply sits, and the space around it settles.

Onyx is a smooth, polished stone that benefits from gentle, consistent care to maintain its surface quality and natural mineral depth. Keep the sphere dry and free from abrasive contact to preserve the polish over time.
