Concorde Marble Two-Tier Stand

A single brass stem runs through both tiers, fixed at graduated heights with a T-bar handle at the top. Both tiers are round with an organically lobed edge — larger at the base, smaller above. The marble is deep black with broad grey veining that sweeps across both surfaces and through the edge profile.

A late-night gathering, music on, the kitchen counter already full. The stand holds the canapés across both tiers — set down in the middle of everything at the start of the evening and not moved again. People drift to it between conversations, taking from the upper tier first, then the lower one.

Black marble is a polished stone that shows contact quickly — acids, oils, and abrasive cleaning all affect the surface, and the deep colour makes marks more visible than on lighter stone. The brass stem requires its own care: keep it dry and handle it gently to preserve the matte finish.

• Wipe marble surfaces with a soft, dry cloth after each use.
• Keep acidic foods and liquids away from the marble surface — citrus, vinegar, and wine will mark the finish.
• Do not use abrasive cloths or chemical cleaners on either the marble or the brass.
• Dry the brass stem immediately after any contact with moisture to prevent tarnishing.
• Apply a food-safe stone sealer to the marble tiers every 6–12 months.
• Place on a stable surface — the marble tiers are heavy and the stand should not be moved by the T-bar handle alone.
• Handle with care — natural stone edges may chip if knocked.
