Chicago Ice Bucket

The body is stainless steel — wood bonded to the outside as a sleeve, the grain running vertically around the full circumference, the natural variation of the timber visible across every face. A mirror-polish lid fits over the top with a domed knob; a swing handle pins to each side.

The counter already in use — bottles open, glasses out, the bucket in place well before the first round was poured. The tongs picked up and set back, someone reaching in between each drink. The kind of evening that moves at its own pace without needing to be managed.

• Material Stainless steel body with a wood overlay bonded to the exterior — the steel provides the structure and weight; the wood sleeve gives the surface its character and warmth
• Color Palette Warm brown wood against bright silver steel; the wood reads lighter and darker across the full surface
• Surface & Texture Mirror-polished steel — reflective and smooth on lid and handle; the wood exterior is close-grained and firm to the touch
• Artisan Touches The wood figure varies across each bucket — knots, grain direction, and depth of color differ piece to piece

The wood overlay is bonded to a steel body — condensation during use and prolonged moisture are the two things most likely to weaken the bond and lift the wood surface over time. Dry the exterior after every use.

• Dry the wood exterior thoroughly after each use — do not leave wet
• Wipe the wood with a dry cloth only — do not soak or submerge
• Hand wash the steel lid and tongs with mild soap and warm water
• Dry all steel parts immediately after washing
• Do not place any part in a dishwasher
• Do not use abrasive cleaners on the wood surface — they will damage the bond over time
