Steel and wood meet at a deliberate line — the shaker body rises in mirror-polish steel from a wood sleeve at its base, capped with a wood and steel lid. The jigger carries the same logic: steel cups at each end, wood between them — the same pairing on both.

A measure poured, the jigger set down, the shaker picked up. The wood warm in the palm where it sits — the steel cold above it. One drink being made without hurry, the counter clear of everything else, the process already underway before the first guest has arrived.

Stainless steel and wood require different care — the steel cleans well with mild soap and warm water, but the wood should never be soaked or submerged, as sustained moisture will raise the grain and loosen the finish over time.

• Hand wash the steel components with mild soap and warm water
• Dry all steel parts immediately after washing — do not leave wet
• Wipe wood surfaces with a damp cloth only — do not soak or submerge
• Do not place any component in a dishwasher
• Store disassembled if possible to allow the wood to breathe between uses
