Agate, cut into tiles and set into a wide mosaic border around a picture frame — each piece laid to form a continuous surface, none of them matching. The tones move across cool ivory, soft gray-white and faint rose, with natural banding and a crystalline depth inside the stone that catches light differently in every section.

Agate is banded through its thickness, not across its face, so the tiles change as the light angle changes through the day — the same border reads cool at noon and warm at dusk. Set the frame down where light moves and it never settles. No two of them repeat a section of stone.

Semi-precious agate is a polished, tile-set stone that requires gentle handling — wipe clean rather than wet, and handle the frame by its base to avoid pressure on the agate mosaic border.

• Avoid abrasive or chemical cleaners that may dull the stone's natural luster
• Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight to preserve the stone's cool tonal quality
• Handle with care — natural stone edges may be delicate at exposed joins
• Do not submerge or immerse in water — wipe only and allow the stone surface and exposed adhesive to cure over time
