Chamonix Onyx Wine Cooler

Onyx, hollowed from a single block into a wine cooler — tall and upright, slightly wider through the body, narrowing toward a shallow stepped base. The rim carries a single curved notch, cut deep enough to seat a bottle neck and hold it at a tilt, angled out for easy reach rather than standing straight.

A dinner for six, the white already in the cooler on the counter — the host reaching past two guests to top up a glass, the bottle tilting out from the notch, back in without looking. The Sage Green reads pale against a marble counter; the Caramel Brown warmer, closer to the wood beside it.

Onyx is a porous natural stone that benefits from prompt, consistent care after use — wine and condensation left to sit on or inside the cooler will work into the stone over time, and the honed surface is susceptible to etching from acidic contact.

• Empty and wipe dry after each use; do not leave standing liquid inside
• Clean with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap; rinse and dry immediately
• Avoid acidic or abrasive cleansers — wine, citrus, and vinegar-based products will damage the surface
• Do not soak or submerge; onyx is a porous natural stone
• Do not place in the freezer to accelerate chilling — sudden temperature changes will damage the stone
• Dry thoroughly before storing to maintain the stone's natural finish and clarity
