Form & Presence

Marbled resin, cast into a wide, low bowl with a dished interior and a rounded rim that runs flush with the outer wall. Amber, deep brown and ivory move through each other in slow, unbroken sweeps across the base and up through the rim. The matte-polished surface draws depth from the material rather than sitting on it.

The pattern is cast, not applied, so a scratch would show the same amber underneath. Amber and brown move through each other in sweeps wide enough that no two points on the rim match — and because the bowl is low and open, the whole pattern arrives at once rather than being found by looking into it.
