Bobby Marble Cake Stand

The platform is wide — sized for confident reach across a full cake — with the scalloped rim running the full perimeter, each rounded lobe following the next at an even depth. The base is a fluted pedestal whose vertical ridges echo the petal edge above, both surfaces honed to a cool, matte finish.

At a holiday dinner in a house with high ceilings, the stand is placed at the center before the plates go down. The fluted pedestal holds the cake well above the tablecloth — the scalloped rim visible from the far end of a long table, the marble steady beneath it.
