Bennett Marble Coasters

White marble inlaid with semi-precious stone, cut into four round coasters — triangular segments meeting at the center and running out to the edge, each one a different stone: deep black, warm amber, terracotta, sage green, cobalt blue. The inlay sits flush with the marble and the joins between segments are clean.

Flush inlay means a wet glass leaves a ring on stone rather than in a seam, and a half-inch of marble holds cold long enough to matter under an iced drink. Four coasters, four different arrangements of the same five stones — a stack of them never shows the same face twice.

Marble and semi-precious stone inlay stay sound with gentle, dry care — moisture, acidic substances, and abrasive contact can affect both the stone surface and the inlay over time.

• Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth to preserve the polished stone surface
• Wipe spills immediately — do not allow liquids to sit on the surface
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh detergents — use mild soap diluted in water if needed
• Place cork or felt pads on the underside if coasters are used on delicate surfaces to prevent scratching
• Do not soak or submerge — prolonged water exposure can affect stone color and finish
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to maintain stone color and finish
• Store carefully to prevent chips at the inlay edges
