Austen Mosaic Onyx Frame

A honed finish across every tile — matte, not polished — so the frame reads as quiet structure rather than surface shine. Each piece is hand-set in an alternating pattern of white marble and onyx, the tiles small enough that the checkerboard resolves into texture rather than geometry. The border is wide, corners gently rounded, the inner edge meeting the photograph cleanly.

The morning a photograph finally gets a frame — pulled from a drawer, placed carefully — this is where it stays. A dressing table with good light, a few other objects nearby, nothing competing. The mosaic gives the image a surround that carries its own presence without asking to be noticed first.
