The color is the only pattern — deep navy at the top dissolving through denim and steel blue to pale sky and near-ivory at the lower edge, each tone bleeding into the next without a defined boundary. The pile is dense and close-cropped throughout, even across the full field. The surface does not change; only the color does.

A beach house bedroom, a window left open to the water. The floor is otherwise bare — the rug runs from under the bed toward the door, its navy end beneath the frame, its pale end catching what comes through the window. The gradient moves across the floor in the same direction as the tide outside.
