Cotton and wool woven in horizontal bands — geometric motifs in raised wool loop alternate with flat jute stripe registers across the full length of the rug. The pattern is tribal in origin but reads as quiet from a distance: warm sand, soft grey, and dark brown flecks distributed evenly across the field. At the short ends, knotted cotton fringe finishes the edge without bulk.

Set beneath a coffee table with a sofa behind it, the banded structure runs parallel to the seating — the horizontal composition holds the arrangement rather than centering it. The raised wool registers catch light differently from the flat jute bands, giving the surface a low but present dimension. Cotton and wool flat-weaves stay in best condition with regular dry maintenance — the wool loop registers are susceptible to pulling if snagged, and the flat jute bands will distort if saturated with water.
