Skye Onyx Picture Frame

The frame is cut from solid onyx with a wide, flat border — generous enough that the stone reads as the primary object, the photograph set into it rather than the other way around. Two brushed brass tabs sit flush at the top and bottom, the only interruption in an otherwise unbroken stone surface.

On a bedside table, a wedding photograph from ten years back — the brass tabs catching what little morning comes through the curtains. On a home office desk, set against a stack of books, the Mocha Brown reading dark and mineral, the Sage Green quieter, closer to the wall behind it.

Onyx requires gentle, consistent care — the matte polished surface is susceptible to scratching from abrasive contact, and acidic substances such as cleaning sprays, citrus, and oils will etch or stain the stone if not removed promptly.

• Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap; dry immediately
• Avoid acidic or abrasive cleansers — these will damage both stone and brass surfaces
• Do not soak or leave standing water on the surface
• Handle with care to preserve the polished stone edges and brass inlay
• Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to maintain the stone's natural color depth
