Green onyx is a semi-translucent natural stone that rewards careful, consistent maintenance — its honed surface and mineral depth are best preserved with gentle, regular care and prompt attention to spills.

• Wipe gently with mild soap and a damp cloth when needed; dry immediately
• Avoid acidic or abrasive cleansers — vinegar, bleach, and citrus-based products will damage the surface
• Do not soak or submerge or expose pieces to prolonged moisture
• Blot spills immediately — pigmented products and oils can stain polished onyx if left to sit
• Reseal periodically with a stone-safe sealant to protect surface integrity
